Welcome to the USS Liberty NCC - 63299!
The year is 2380. Five years have passed since the end of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The major powers of the Alpha and Beta quadrants continue their rebuilding efforts after a long bloody war with the Dominion.
Starfleet has spent many years focusing on rebuilding Federation and civilian facilities, along with sending resources to Cardassia to aid in their own rebuilding efforts.
Now the time has come for Starfleet to turn its attention on its own fleet, increasing output of their shipyards for new and refit vessels.
One of the vessels fresh from being fully refitted is the USS Liberty, an Akira-class starship placed in the capable hands of Captain Horatio Refelian and Commander Takeda Izo.
Their mission will be to patrol the Cardassian border.
Peace has finally been brought to the known galaxy. Or has it?

Welcome to August’s Refresh.
I hope everyone had a good summer! I know things have been slow over the past few weeks but sims do slow down around this time of year with holidays, working and getting ready for the next academic year!
I’m hopeful things will pick up over the coming weeks and we can get into the meat of the mission!
Crew
Unfortunately, we had to remove Lieutenant Trimmer from the sim due to lack of activity and no communication.
Sim
We’ve really slowed down over the summer months due to holidays etc, I completely understand and hope you’ve all enjoyed your summers. I’d like to see us begin to pick again, please make sure you get to any tags you may have promptly.

The Liberty has arrived near the DMZ and is about to begin her patrol.
Player of the Month
The Liberty’s player of the month is Lieutenant Xalanth! He has done an excellent job keeping up with tags and was very impressed with his creativity in our JP.

Hey everyone, hope everyone is enjoying the start of the summer. My apologies that this is going out a little late, but I’ve been away on a family holiday to Wales, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Mission
Commander Izo commanded the Liberty on her month long shake down after her long refit. Now docked at Deep Space Nine, the Liberty awaits for her crew to arrive before heading off for its first mission under its new Captain along the Cardassian border.
Player of the Month
Starting next month, Commander Izo and myself will choosing a player of the month. There could be various reasons for being awarded PoTM, good side plot ideas, good plot development, good character development, good posting in tags etc.
